Obituary for Stephen M. Marcinko

Stephen M.  Marcinko
Stephen M. Marcinko III of Jessup died Friday at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart Inpatient Unit following a brief illness. His wife of 32 years is the former Christine Kubilis.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Stephen and Ann Marie Burnis Marcinko. A graduate of Scranton Technical High School, before his illness he was employed as a mechanic at Jessup Auto.
Stephen was a talented mechanic who love cars and resorting them. He liked to ride his motorcycle and go snowmobiling. He was a member of St. Stephen’s Booster Club in Scranton.
Also surviving are son, Stephen J. Marcinko, Jessup; brother, Richard and wife, Barbara, Jessup; sisters, Patty and husband, Paul Doyle, Moscow; Marilyn and husband, Lawrence Hartshorn, Scranton; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 5 p.m. in the Arthur A. Albini Funeral Home, 1003 Church St., Jessup. Interment in Holy Ghost Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.
