Jo Anne M. “Chach” Picchio of life-long resident of Jessup died Saturday May 13, 2017 at home.
Born in Peckville she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Marie Evans Picchio. A graduate of Valley View High School Class of 1977, where she played shortstop on the softball team. Prior to her illness she was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse for Laurel Hill and Dunmore Healthcare Center.
She was a member of the Italian-American Club and the American Legion Post #327.

Jo Anne was a loving sister and aunt and will be missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are sisters Mary Ann Picchio, Jessup and Angela Wiltz and husband David, Olyphant; nephew John Anthony Picchio; great-nephew John Angelo Picchio; canine friends Wicket, Max, Cici, Demose, and Dusty.
She was preceded in death by lifetime friend Barry Korgeski.
The funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 8:30 A.M. from the Arthur A. Albini Funeral Home, 1003 Church St., Jessup, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 A.M. in Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick’s Church 200 Delaware Ave., Olyphant. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Montdale. Friends and family may call Tuesday from 5-8 p.m.
