Lillian Dunbar, 60, Jermyn, died at home on Tuesday, Aug. 15, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Carl J. Dunbar Jr., who died in 2013.

Born and raised in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late John Sr. and Lillian Abbott Evanusa. She graduated in 1976 from Scranton Technical High School, and before her illness, she was employed for 13 years at Sam's Club.

Surviving are her children, Carl III, Lillian and husband, Shawn; Joseph and wife, Rita; John, and Michael and fiancee, Marissa; several grandchildren; brothers, Michael, Sam and Stephen Evanusa; sisters, Vicky Evanusa, Mary Ann Hassell, Lynn Ney and Daria Pettis; several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, John Evanusa Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday with a prayer service at 4 p.m. followed by calling hours until 6 p.m. in the Arthur A. Albini Funeral Home, 1003 Church St., Jessup.
