Obituary for Ann E. Petrosky

Ann E. Petrosky of Blakely, formerly of Olyphant died Friday March 30, 2018 at the Regional Hospital of Scranton. Her husband of 40 years is Stanley Petrosky.
Born in Peckville, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Pauline Sumra Booth. A graduate of Olyphant High School, prior to retirement she was an office manager in the insurance industry and was employed by Insurance Markets Agency Inc., in Clarks Green. She earned the Insurance Woman of the Year award in 1985.
Ann enjoyed cooking, reading, going to the casino, attending Penn State and New York Yankee games and loved spending time with her grandchildren Sydney and Mason.
Surviving are son Michael Guida Jr., and wife Jennifer, Jessup; 6 grandchildren; 1 step-grandson; nephews and a niece; former husband and close friends Michael Guida Sr. and his wife Jean, Deltona, Florida.
She was preceded in death by brothers Thomas and John Booth.
A blessing service will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Arthur A. Albini Funeral Home 1003 Church St. Jessup. Family and friends may pay their respects Saturday morning from 10:00 am until service time.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Ann’s memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
