Barbara J. Bolsar of Jessup died Thursday May 17, 2018 at the Allied Services Hospice Center. Her husband is George Bolsar and they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 25th.
Born in Scranton she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hannah Schoonover Hendricks. Educated in Scranton schools, prior to retirement she was the owner and operator of St. George’s Restaurant in Jessup.
Also surviving are sons George III, Jessup, Michael and wife Nancy, Florida, Mark and wife Jennifer, Jessup, Timothy and wife Sharon, Moscow, and Joseph and wife Judy, Archbald; daughter Leanne Butka and husband Todd, Peckville; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers Paul, Joseph, and Richard Hendricks; sister Sheila Hartman; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by sister Jane Kelly.
The funeral will be conducted Monday at 8:30 A.M. from the Arthur A. Albini Funeral Home, 1003 Church St., Jessup, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 A.M. at Queen of Angels Parish in St. Michael's Church, First Avenue, Jessup. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends and family may call Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M.
