Andrew P. "Scalar" Scalamonti
Andrew P. “Scalar” Scalamonti of Jessup died peacefully Thursday July 26, 2018 at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart Inpatient Unit.
Born in Jessup he was the son of the late Adam and Elizabeth Talnagi Scalamonti. A graduate of Jessup High School, Class of 1965, he proudly served in the United States Army National Guard. He was an avid golfer, loved to watch sports and westerns, and spending time with his grandson. The family would like to thank Dr. Richard Martin, his primary physician and friend and the staff at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in patient unit in Dunmore who took wonderful care of all his needs in every way.
Surviving are daughter Tiffany Ordonez and husband Onan, Scranton; grandson Emilio Ordonez; fiancé Judy Almonti Bellan, Jessup; sister Maria Shamon and husband Richard, Jessup; brothers John and wife Diane, New Jersey, and Charles, Jessup; Aunts Jenny Hodge, Moosic and Clara Talnagi, Jessup; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brother Michael.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 am in Queen of Angels Parish in St. Michael's Church, First Avenue, Jessup. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
