Obituary for Lyona M. Drutarovsky

Lyona M. Drutarovsky of Peckville died Thursday February 2, 2017 at home following a brief illness. She was the widow of the late Joseph Drutarovsky who passed away on January 15, 2010.
Born in Peckville she was the daughter of the late Michael and Helen Kane Chupak.
Lyona was an accomplished seamstress who loved to sew clothing for her great-grandchildren, but she was best known for sewing vestments for priests locally and all over the world. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. She was an active member of Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church and St. Mary’s Guild.
Lyona’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at AseraCare Hospice and the nurses at Geisinger C.M.C. for their compassionate care.
Surviving are daughters Joyce Wizda, with whom she resided and her husband Stephen, Peckville, Mary Jordan and husband Martin, New Jersey, Michaela Mancak and husband Ronald, Jessup, and Irene Noe and companion Gil Applegate, Bethlehem; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by son-in-law Edward Noe.
The funeral will be Monday at 9:00 a.m. from the Arthur A. Albini Funeral Home, 1003 Church St., Jessup, with Divine Liturgy at 9:30 in Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church, First Avenue, Jessup. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery, Jessup.

Friends may call Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Parastas service will be held at 4:00 p.m.
