Edelvaise D. Alberigi of Jessup died Thursday February 16, 2017 at home surrounded by her family following a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Her husband of 59 years is Ray Alberigi.
Born in Jessup she was the daughter of the late Rizzi and Eleanor Ruby Ferranti.
A graduate of St. Patrick’s High School in Olyphant, and Marywood College; she was a school teacher that taught in various locations and prior to retirement she was a remedial math teacher for NEIU.
Edel was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and her family was her life. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Also surviving are daughters Tracy Alberigi; Jill Refice and husband Joseph, grandchildren JR and Jillian Refice.
The funeral will be conducted Monday from the Arthur A. Albini Funeral Home, 1003 Church St., Jessup, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 A.M. at Queen of Angels Parish in St. Michael's Church, First Avenue, Jessup. Interment, St. John’s Cemetery, Jessup. Everyone attending the Mass is kindly asked to proceed directly to church. There will be no public calling hours.
