Obituary for Kenneth Santarelli

Kenneth C. Santarelli of Peckville died Tuesday November 14, 2017 at the Geisinger Community Medical Center following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Peckville he was the son of Elaine Goldyn Santarelli and the late Fernando J. Santarelli. He was a graduate of Valley View High School.
He was the Vice President of Santarelli & Sons Oil Co., and Pop Pop's Mini Mart , Peckville. He was also owner and proprietor of Santarelli Car Spa in Eynon.
Ken was a very generous and helpful person who always cared about other people. He donated his time along with his family to various charities, especially to St. Joseph’s Center, Marley’s Mission, NEPA Black and Blue Ball, Bess the
Book and countless other local organizations.
One of the Co Founders of the NEPA Energy Marketers Association. He was also very active in the CITGO Fueling Good Program that helped many of the local charities in the area.
Also surviving are three daughters, twins Mia and Maria, and Morriah Santarelli, Archbald; sister Maryann Veno and Husband Art, Archbald; brothers Dave, Scranton, Fred, Eynon; nieces and nephews David, Marcus, and Tyler Santarelli, and A.J., Nikalina, and Noah Veno; godchild Jessica Zuraski; former wife Jill Krushinksi; and several cousins and also close friends who were considered as family.
He was preceded in death by nephew Fernando Veno.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, 1101 Willow Street, Peckville. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Jessup. Friends and family may pay their respects on Sunday from 3-7 pm in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Community Center.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Ken’s name to St. Joseph’s Center 2010 Adams Ave. Scranton, PA 18509, to Marley’s Mission 2150 Port Royal Rd. Clarks Summit, PA 18411, or to the donor’s favorite charity.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Arthur A. Albini Funeral Home, 1003 Church St. Jessup.
