Obituary for Louise Santarelli

Louise Santarelli of Blakely died Tuesday March 20, 2018 at home following a brief illness. She was the widow of Aldo Santarelli who died in 1998.
Born in Rome, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Efisio and Giovanna Soro Conteddu and emigrated to the United States in the early 1960’s.
Louise enjoyed knitting, she had a green thumb and grew a great garden, she was an extraordinary baker and cook, but above all she loved and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are three daughters Rita Klasmier, North Carolina, Maria Ganard and husband Rich, Nebraska, and Anna Santarelli, Blakely; 7 grandchildren, Robert, Erica, and Arin Klasmier, Christina, Joshua, and Evan Ganard, and Briana Curtis; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers John, Salvatore, Peppino, and Santino.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Giuseppina.
The funeral will be conducted Saturday at 9:00 A.M. from the Arthur A. Albini Funeral Home, 1003 Church St., Jessup, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at Queen of Angels Parish in St. Michael's Church, First Avenue, Jessup. Interment, St. John’s Cemetery, Jessup. Friends and family may call Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made in Louise’s name to Alzheimer's Association P.O.
