Life Story for Patricia B. Sweeney

Patricia B. Sweeney of Jessup died Monday October 8, 2018 at the Elmcroft of Mid Valley Care Center. Her husband of 60 years is Thomas F. Sweeney.
Born in Dickson City she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Radzicki Korman. A graduate of Scranton Technical High School, Class of 1955, prior to retirement she was employed as a clerk at Humpty Dumpty. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Peckville, and liked to volunteer her time with Meals on Wheels.
Also surviving are sons Thomas I. Sweeney and companion Michelle Passeri, Jermyn and James Sweeney and wife Tracy, Clarks Green; grandchildren Rachel Sweeney-Bohenek and husband Chris, Laura Sweeney, Chantel Mitchell, Kyle Sweeney, Jimmy Sweeney, and Greg Sweeney; great-grandsons Dylan and Gavin Bohenek; brother Tom Korman and wife Carol, Scranton; sisters Marcia Korman, Olyphant, and Joan White California; brother-in-law Frank Roche, Scranton; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by infant daughter Joan Sweeney; sister Marge Roche.
The funeral will be conducted on Thursday from the Arthur A. Albini Funeral Home, 1003 Church St. Jessup with Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on at 9:30 a.m. in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, 1101 Willow Street, Peckville. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Jessup. Every one attending the Mass is kindly asked to proceed directly to church. There will be no public calling hours.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Patricia’s name to the donor’s favorite charity.
