Obituary for Francis D. Leach
Francis D. Leach of Peckville, a resident of the Lackawanna Health & Rehab Center, died Wednesday May 29, 2019.
Born in Peckville, he was the son of the late George and Georgette Pauley Leach. Educated in Valley View schools, prior to his sickness he worked for Sugarmans.
Francis was an avid fisherman, he was a tennis and basketball star during his school years, and was a Pittsburgh Pirates fan.
Francis’ family would like to offer it’s sincerest gratitude and appreciation for the wonderful and loving care received from his “family” at Lackawanna Healthcare Center.
Surviving are sisters Georgette Fetcho and husband John, Sturges, Patty LeMay, Sturges, Mary Hallman and husband Gerard, Wind Gap; brother Dennis Leach and wife Dina, Florida; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brother-in-law Jim LeMay.
Funeral services and interment in Holy Ghost Cemetery, Jessup were held privately.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Arthur A. Albini Funeral Home 1003 Church St. Jessup.
