Albert P. Malinosky of Jessup died Monday August 24, 2020 at the Moses Taylor Hospital following a brief illness. His loving wife of 51 ½ years is the former Lorraine Zajac.
Born in Peckville he was the son of the late William and Catherine Barowski Malinosky. A graduate of Jessup High School Class of 1963, he proudly served in the United States Air Force. Prior to retirement he was employed by RCA, and then went on to work for Gander Mountain since its opening and absolutely loved working there. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of American Legion Post #869, Hricak-McAndrew of Archbald, and of Sacred Heart Parish in Peckville.
Albert was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be immensely missed by all who knew him.
Also surviving are daughter Stephanie Ann Parfrey and husband Thomas A. Parfrey Jr.; grandsons Joshua Thomas Parfrey and Noah Christopher Parfrey; sister Josephine Karolewicz; sister-in-law Mary Ann Gawronska; his loving dog Ginger; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by sister Dolores Pascavage; brother-in-law Michael Zajac; his beloved dog Mishka.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:30 am in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 1101 Willow St., Peckville. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery, Jessup. Friends and family may pay their respects Thursday morning from 8:30 – 10 am in the Arthur A. Albini Funeral Home, 1003 Church St. Jessup. Visitors will be required to adhere to CDC social distancing guidelines and a mask will be required. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, 967 Griffin Pond Rd., South Abington Twp., PA 18411.
