Stanford "Buddy" Conniff, 89, formerly of Jessup, died
Friday at the Lackawanna Health and Rehab Center, Sturges.
Born in Jessup, he was the son of the late Edward Stanford
and Elizabeth Gaughan Conniff and was a graduate of Jessup
High School. Prior to his retirement, he was employed at
the Jewish Home in Scranton.
Surviving are: a son Daniel and wife Patricia, Metuchen, NJ;
a daughter Tracey Santos and husband Jim, Bolivia, NC;
3 grandchildren: Danny, Shannon & Max; a sister Janie
Healey and husband Joseph, Olyphant; nieces, nephews,
& cousins.
He was preceded in death by a brother Daniel and 2 sisters:
Elaine Marchegiani & Elizabeth "Betty Jean" Schultz.
