Johanna Parlanti, 97, of Peckville, formerly of Jessup died Sunday February 14, 2021 at the Lackawanna Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow of the late Peter Jarrow who died in 1977, and her second husband Giulio Parlanti in 1990.
Born in Winton, she was the daughter of the late Frank Sr. and Albina Baldoni Petrini. Educated in Jessup schools, prior to retirement she worked in housekeeping. Johanna's family meant everything to her. She had such a kind and loving way that you knew you were in her heart. She will be missed greatly. We can only pray that she is in a better place.
Surviving are step-son Robert Parlanti; step-daughter Carol Hicks; sisters-in-law Rita Petrini and Lillian Troiani; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by son Daniel Jarrow and his wife Ann Marie Pellis Jarrow; brothers Peter, Baldo, Frank Jr., Cafiero, John, Virgilio, Vedio Petrini; sisters Perina Baldoni, Mary Clark, Gena Marrioni, Alba Masler.
Funeral services and interment in St. John’s Cemetery, Jessup will be private. There will be no public calling hours.
