Obituary for Rhonda M. Fabri
Rhonda M. Fabri of Jessup passed on to heaven Tuesday April 6, 2021 after a long battle with cancer. Her companion of 21 years is Tony Vicaretti and they shared a great life together.
Born in Jessup she was the daughter of the late Armand Sr. and Margaret Skinta Fabri.
Rhonda is a graduate of Valley View High School (Class of 1982), earned Bachelor of Science degree in English from Duquesne University, & attended Marywood University.
She was a longtime substitute, then full time 5th grade teacher in the Valley View School District, and coached football cheerleading in the district.
After an injury Rhonda began working in the telecommunications industry where she became the first female Regional Vice-President with ACN. Rhonda most recently was the proprietor of Happy Days Inc., where she dealt in antiques and collectibles. She was also an avid golfer.
Rhonda was a caregiver for many years to many family & friends and will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Also surviving is her son Corey Gerek of Jessup, and his father, Joseph Gerek. She was preceded in death by brother Armand Fabri Jr.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Queen of Angels Parish in St. Michael's Church, Jessup. Interment in St. John’s Cemetery will also be private. Friends and family may walk through and pay their respects Saturday from 8:30 – 9:30 am in the Arthur A. Albini Funeral home, 1003 Church St, Jessup (social distancing guidelines will be enforced including masks required).
