Obituary for Robert J. "Dugan" Dubravcak

Robert J. “Dugan” Dubravcak of Jessup died after a brief illness Sunday, May 16, 2021, at Allied Services Hospice Center. He was comforted in his final hours by his daughters at his side. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, the former Barbara Antonik, who died in 2019.
Born in Blakely, he was the son of the late John and Josephine Hytovic Dubravcak. A graduate of St. Patrick’s High School, class of 1956, he was a proud employee of the Sylvester Chevrolet family for more than 46 years. He loved working on lawnmowers, snowblowers and any little project that would keep him busy. He would help out with anything that someone would need. He loved Chevys and attending car shows where he won numerous trophies for proudly displaying his ’57 Chevy Bel Air. He was a member of Holy Cross Parish, Olyphant.
Surviving are daughters, Barbara Ann Faramelli; Karen Walsh and husband, Jim; all of Jessup; grandchildren, Tiffany and Brandon Faramelli, and James and Lauren Walsh; cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by son-in-law, Bruce Faramelli; brother, John Dubravcak; and sister, Romaine Lesnesky.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church at Holy Cross Parish, 200 Delaware St., Olyphant. All attending are asked to proceed directly to church. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery, Jessup.
Friends and family may pay their respects Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Arthur A. Albini Funeral Home, 1003 Church St., Jessup. Social distancing guidelines and mask requirements will still be required.
