Carl H. Salvador of Eynon died Friday November 17, 2017 at home following a brief illness. His wife of 57 years is the former Loretta Vitkus.
Born in Eynon he was the son of the late Albert and Edith Bianchi Salvador. Educated in Eynon schools, he proudly served in the United States Army, and prior to his retirement he worked in the building trades and was a welder.
Carl was an avid hunter and fisherman. He grew a masterful and well-known garden. An honorable man and a family man, he had many friends and was very helpful and giving to all of them. He will be missed by all who knew him. He will be especially missed by his best buddy “Doodler.”
Also surviving are a daughter Lori Baclit and husband Craig, East Rockhill; grandson Christian Paparelli and Fiancé Allison Butash, Archbald.
He was preceded in death by a brother Albert Salvador.
The funeral will be conducted Tuesday at 8:30 A.M. from the Arthur A. Albini Funeral Home, 1003 Church St., Jessup, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 A.M. in St. Mary’s of Czestochowa Church, 417 Main St. Eynon. Interment with Military Honors will followin St. John’s Cemetery, Jessup. Family and friends may pay their respects Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
