Ms. Dorothy T. McNulty died Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the Regional Hospital of Scranton. Dorothy was born in Olyphant, a daughter of the late William A. and Molly Wheeler McNulty. She was a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School and Lackawanna Business College. She was employed and retired from RCA. She enjoyed life and especially loved her time with family and friends. All who knew Dorothy readily recognized her quick wit, sense of humor and caring nature. Dorothy had a strong faith in God, which sustained her throughout her life, and was a faithful and lifetime member of Holy Cross Church in Olyphant.
Surviving are four nieces, a nephew, three cousins, and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Rev. William McNulty, a La Salette Missionary, and Patrick Joseph, a Central High School teacher, and a sister Jean Marie, a music teacher at North Pocono High School.
Friend may call 4 P.M. to 7 P. M. at the Arthur A. Albini Funeral Home, 1003 Church St., Jessup. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Holy Cross Church, 200 Delaware Ave., Olyphant, at 11:30 A.M. Interment will follow, at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Blakely.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations may be made in Dorothy’s name to the Holy Cross Parish Wednesday Community Lunch program or a charity of choice.
